Badges
Q. What kind of fabric do you use?
A. Embroidered badges are made using the finest materials. Usually it is colour fast poly cotton, but we will use other fabrics if requested. We use polyester embroidery threads and the over locked edge is also of polyester.
Q. Can I wash the badges.
A. All materials used for our embroidered badges will allow you to machine wash to 60 degrees.
Q. How do I apply the badges to my garment.
A. Needle and thread is the best answer here - by hand or with a sewing machine. We have a sewing service which we would be pleased to offer to you to sew badges to garments and bags etc.
Alternatively the badges could come with an iron on adhesive. We will send you an instruction sheet as to how to press your badges on. Sticking fabric to fabric is difficult as all fabrics have nap (fluff) which make adhesion difficult so our recommendation is always.. sew it on!
Q. Can the over locking match the embroidery colour
A. The range of over locking threads is not as great as that of embroidery threads. We prefer not to use embroidery threads but on occasions we will. We always recommend that edging in fabric colour will give a good result especially when matches are critical. Please phone us to discuss any special requirement.
Q. How long will it take to finish our badges.
A. Obviously the quantity to be finished will effect the production time. We try to turn goods sent for finishing back with in three or four days.
Q. How long will it take to produce embroidered badges
A. We are aiming to produce badges in a two week period.
Printed Badges
Q. Can I wash Printed badges
A. We sublimate our badges so the print is within the fabric. Washing and pressing are safe.
Q. How can I pay you?
A. We take all major credit cards or you can pay directly into our bank by BACS
